Here is the latest update of Kai JIe at The Montessori school :-
Strength / Accomplishment
· Colours: (able to recognize all the colour box)
· Shapes: (able to recognize most of the shape such as circle, triangle, square, rectangle, oval and diamond)
· Numbers: (able to recognize and count 1 -10, able to do simple addition and subtraction with coaching. Understand the concept of bigger and smaller)
· Alphabets: (able to recite and recognize Aa – Zz well.)
· Phonics : (able to pronounce the phonical sound of A – Z)
· Matching: (able to do matching activities with confidence and patience)
Kai Jie likes puzzles and is very confident in assembling them. He has the enthusiasm in learning new thing, show active participation when motivated. He is able to understand instruction and obey them well, he got a lot of improved in table manner ( able to self feed and sit quietly while eating and finish within a reasonable time frame) and he is able to write and colour neatly.
Areas Need Improvement
1) Encourage more speech in English among friends and with teachers.
2) Encourage more interaction and stimulate more response.
3) To encourage more self expressions.
4) To give him more assurance and confidence in socializing.
Social Emotion
1) Kai Jie is quiet boy most of the time. He need time to get warmed up.
2) He will interact with children whom he is familiar with.
3) He is sometimes a moody child but has improved a lot
4) Kai Jie has shown improvement in speech and interaction.
Teacher’s Comment
1) Kai Jie is a subtle child. He has the potential to progress further.
2) He needs more attention to build his confidence.
3) He is improving to be independent, confident and feel comfortable with his surrounding.
Kai Jie needs motivation and recognition for him to progress.
真难得的一对好朋友,老师说他们好得一起手拉手去厕所,吃饭也一定要坐在一起,玩耍时也一起甚至还会时常update对方在家发生的事情呢! （真像男女友情哦！）
